SPINECROSS
Spinecross was born from a simple idea: protecting the spine should not come at the expense of freedom of movement.
Created by a neurosurgeon and rally racer, Dr Timur Urakov, Spinecross is dedicated to advancing protective technologies that help reduce the risk of neck and upper spinal injuries in helmeted activities. Our approach focuses on preserving natural movement during normal use while providing controlled support during extreme or potentially dangerous motions.
We believe innovation in safety equipment should be practical, adaptable, and informed by real-world experience. By combining medical insight, engineering principles, and a passion for adventure, Spinecross aims to inspire a new generation of protective solution for riders, athletes, and anyone pursuing active lifestyles.

RACING
The SpineCross Racing Team is where innovation meets the real world. The SpineCross device has been tested under the very demanding conditions faced by rally racers across some of the toughest terrain on Earth.
Our team has successfully competed in the MINT 400, Vegas to Reno, Baja Rally, Sonora Rally, and Africa Eco Race. Throughout thousands of miles of racing, the device has endured prolonged exposure to extreme heat and ultraviolet radiation in the Sahara Desert, relentless vibration, and multiple significant crashes.
To date, the SpineCross device has not experienced a structural failure.
Our testing continues. Future expeditions will take SpineCross to South America for the Ruta 40 Rally, back to Morocco for the Rallye du Maroc, and ultimately to Saudi Arabia for the Dakar Rally—the world's most demanding off-road motorsport event. Follow us here.

SpineCross is proud to collaborate with SIPAR INC (Spinal Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the impact of spinal injuries through education, prevention, and community outreach. Together, our mission is to educate young riders on safe and responsible e-bike operation, emphasizing the importance of protective equipment, situational awareness, and smart decision-making on the road and trails. Through educational programs, safety workshops, and community initiatives, SpineCross and SIPAR INC. aim to foster a culture of responsibility and injury prevention, empowering the next generation to enjoy riding while minimizing unnecessary risks.
